I hope it will make it through the customs, as I know they are very careful in Saudi Arabia and this little thingy must look a bit weird in the x-ray of a package.
Wishing you all a great start in the week and look forward to what´s new in your blogs!

The altered box is wonderful....you did such a good job...I just know she is going to be thrilled to receive such a georgeous gift....Did you alter the outside of the box or was it already like that? It's so pretty.
AntwortenLöschenGreat job....I hope you have a wonderful day...
Hugs and Blessings,

Thank you, Nancy!
AntwortenLöschenI was grinding down the original polish with sand-paper, paintied the box with golden effect paste first, used a crackle polish and after drying I covered it with the light blue color. Then I applied her name and the picture in the middle (paper), altered it a bit with brown polish and applied some glossy finish at last. I will let it dry for about two days, then it should be ready to send it :)

That is beautiful. I've never tried anything like this. How fun it would be. I've painted little boxes but yours is just awesome. Thanks for sharing.
AntwortenLöschenThank you, Gloria. I love those little boxes, cause they doesn´t need much, but a little creativity. A bit color, a little piece textile, few buttons or other stuff you can find at home, glue and color. The little map in the background I simply printed and covered it with clear polish. You should try out a Frida collage, your Fridas are always so amazing!
AntwortenLöschenjust fantastic! what an innovative way of doing travel art! Love it!
