Hello Bloggers,
spring has sprung and that was the reason why I didn´t post something the last few days. I have been busy preparing my herbs patch in the garden together with my Dad. Nothing planted yet, it´s still a bit too cold, but I´m putting my nose in my herbs books already to find my choice for this year and next week I´ll go shopping for some saplings and seeds. I will keep you updated.
Today I started to paint a tiny Frida Kahlo portrait on an easter egg (what else! lol), what will be a little giveaway for my parents.
In the meantime, for the catlovers of you, a short hilarious video I found on youtube. I think to many of you this looks TOO familiar! :))
Hope it makes you smile and wish you all a wonderful spring-day.

!Hola! Bettina. Loved this cartoon....very funny, but the same can be said about Chihuahuas!! I have 2, Maya & Mr. Peanut, and they hang out with me in my studio and get in trouble when I lay some of my work on the floor...they think I'm playing a game with them.
AntwortenLöschenI lived in Germany many years ago in Stuttgart, but my favorite place to visit was always Munich and Garmish and the surrounding villages. The Bayrish people are so much more lay back, kind of like here in west Texas on the Mexican border...we Latinos love to party, no matter what!!
Have a great week and take care. I also love Frida, but I grew up knowing her and Diego's stories from my grandmother.
Hi Bettina. Hope all is well. I thought that was very funny. Thanks for sharing the video. Now I have to tell my Chipoo (chihuahua/poodle) to stay out of my studio.:D Take care.
AntwortenLöschenHow cute that you both have Chihuahuas, Gloria and Georgina! They are so adorable and you ladies gave your dogs such sweet names :*)
AntwortenLöschenGeorgina, I live very close to munich, right in the area you are talking of, the town I live is called Rosenheim, maybe you know it.
And yes, you are right - we bavarians are the latinos of germany :)) Always looking at the bright side of life, we enjoy to celebrate old folk traditions, love good food and take things slow. Makes me happy you enoyed your time here. Can´t wait for the summer and look forward to swim on one of our numerous lakes here and to eat with the family in the garden.
Sending love to you two ladies!
