Since I´m waking up very often before the sun comes out, because my skin is bugging me I noticed that the night isn´t that qiuet as we may think. Once I was cooking some tea, opened the window and looked and listened outside.
I´ve seen a hedgehog strolling around in our garden, the birds slowly woke up and two cats were busy digging a hole in my herbs patch - needless to so say why they did that, lol, nice to see what they are up to when they think everyone is sleeping!
I´m not living in the Jungle (even if I wished so sometimes), but I figured the night has it´s own life. And it worth to take a peek. All silent, when the beings outside think we are sleeping.
I love nature and how it works, it amazes me, even the little part of it in front of my window, even at night...and even with cats pooping in my garden. By all the beauty around I take this on the chin :)
