So many things were going on in my life these days - gardening, preparing my balcony for summer, several family festivities and and and...
First of all I wanted to thank all those who visited my blog in the meantime and left comments (specially Nancy - so happy to see you back!)
Now - a lot to read and a lot to post. I didn´t want to post all together, so I will start with this painting I finished last week. I painted it after a work of Carl Gustav Jung I discovered in his famous "Red Book". It caught my eye and I wanted to paint my own version of it. Actually I´m painting this work twice - the first one, the one you can see below, is finished already and I sent it to my uncle and his family a few days ago. I was happy to hear that they like it a lot.
The second one, how selfish, I will paint for our own home.
I simply love the motive :)
The first picture shows the painting in progress, in the middle you can see the final result of my work and below you can see the original of Carl Gustav Jung. My painting is only "inspired" by it - the original is so amazing, it´s actually impossible to make a "copy" of it. The spirit of the original artist shines through and that´s something you cannot put in by doin´a repro.
The second piece is still in work, I will keep you updated :)
Hope you are all doin´well, I have missed you a lot!
Thanks for stopping by - see you soon, fellow Bloggers!
